Yorgos Troumouchis

He is a leading figure in the renewal of Rhodian cuisine, and he has inspired dozens of chefs in the Dodecanese to evolve and promote local cuisine. His book "Long Smell - The culinary heritage of Rhodes" is a book of reference. After his studies, he worked in great hotels’ restaurants in Greece and abroad. Today he is the executive chef of "Noble Gourmet", which was the first restaurant in Rhodes to be awarded with the "Golden Caps" award.

Stamatis Misomikes

After completing his studies, he gained great experience working in famous and award-winning restaurants abroad. However, his professional career and his evolution were determined by George Trumouchis' research on the local cuisine of the island of Rhodes. He is the head chef of "Noble Gourmet", which is awarded with a "Golden Cap" award. He also works as an executive chef at the Michelin restaurant “Pastorale” in Belgium.

A chef with a brilliant journey and many “Golden Caps” in his career, Sotiris Evangelou is the first to impose the Greek-centric concept in fine dining in high-end hotels and restaurants, as he engages the audience with his technique. He has studied at the Alain Ducasse School in Paris and has worked in many of its restaurants. He is now the executive chef of the “Salonica” restaurant at Makedonia Palace in Thessaloniki, and he keeps being awarded with “Golden Caps”.

With a powerful pair of chefs and their experienced team, Elysium is being on top as far as gastronomy is concerned. The executive chef Yorgos Troumouhis and the chef Stamatis Misomikes have studied in depth the Dodecanese cuisine and offer a menu based on deep knowledge and high technique. In the awarded fine dining restaurant “Noble Gourmet” (Golden Caps Award 2019), they recreate the local Rhodian cuisine in a modern, inspired way. In Fresh Mediterranean Restaurant, modern Greek cuisine is dominant, with dishes based on many Rhodian recipes and quality local products combined with Mediterranean flavors. Finally, the main restaurant “Emerald” offers a rich buffet breakfast, filled with greek products, and a dinner table d’ hôte menu, inspired from international and greek cuisine, with high standards.


The complex is divided into three wings. The central hosts the reception and the standard rooms and has been decorated by Angelos Angelopoulos. A key feature of the resort are the many luxurious suites, grouped according to their decorative style. Recent impressive additions are the "Bohemian Collection" suites, boho chic style with natural materials dominated by wood and rattan, open plan layout, lounge terrace with pergola and pool with a lovely day bed with shade. The zen style dominates all of the Suites River Passage Suites. Here, the ground-floor suites all have a garden and a pool, while the junior suites on the floor have jacuzzi on the terrace. Finally, the oriental style gives the tone to the sixteen luxurious Ottoman Gardens suites with a pool and aesthetic garden.
